when there is something going on in our life, and we can "see" the road ahead. Of course, if you thought that the road would end in disaster, you would be a little scared, but a lot of times, if there is any trouble or anything "not fun" AT ALL, then we get scared, and don't trust God. Trust me, I can be this way sooo many times.
After Jesus has died for us, giving His life on the cross, to save the very people that sin against Him every day, why can't we just trust Him with our life, even just one year, month, day....what ever trial it might be.
When we see the storming "waters" ahead, we, of course, would plead to God to save us from them, not wanting to be covered by the raging water, that holds only hurt ahead. And, of course, God will save you at those times, when it is His will. But, He may have a purpose for bringing you through these storming waters, just to make us stronger, and closer to Him.
Sometimes, we just need to let go and say "God, i trust you, i let go of everything i have, i know this is Your plan for my life, and i know that you have a purpose in what You are doing" and just let go, and let God take your hand, and lead you through the road ahead.
Here is a song that has encouraged me soo much:
Have a happy, happy week!

This is such an encouraging post. My family has really been having to trust God with my grandma's life. We just found out last Monday that she has stage 4 colon cancer. It is pretty bad, but we are trusting and believing that God is and will heal her. God is so awesome and always there for us. Any prayers for my grandma would be greatly appreciated. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Lissie! awww.....i am soooo sorry, really. I will deffinately be praying for her and the rest of the family....cancer is horrible : ( So true, no matter what it is, God is there through the whole thing and has a purpose!
