Dear Gabe,


Your b-day's this month, and you're turning 3-years-old!  I'm not too good at saying what i think out loud, and i know you wouldn't really be able to listen to this whole thing.  I know i'm a girl, and you're a boy, so i can't give you advice like another boy could, but i'm just talking from my big sister heart to you!

Boys are described as loving snails and puppy dog tails....and all those things.  But you're more than that!

Sure, you might throw a fit if you don;t get your way, you might get tired of all our cuddles, and get a little grumpy, but, behind all that is a sweet little boy, you!

Your smile can warm a room, and your laugh can't keep a mouth straight. When your chubby little arms embrace me with a hug, I couldn't love you more.  It makes one smile when you have your competitive spirit, and pretend to be a "Super hero"!

But, one day, you'll be all grown up, and I won't be able to cuddle and kiss you in my lap as much as i want.

Then, i'll just be another girl with jiggly bracelets, make up, lots of perfume, glittery earrings, and bubble gum!  These things probably totally  gross brothers out : )

Even if i can't still spoil you with candy, and smother you with kisses, you'll still be that sweet little boy i love.

You'll still have that smile, that silly laugh, that you!

And, i'll always, always love you ; )

Winner and give away!!

The winner of my give away is Isabelle : )

I know it hasn't been long since i did the post about the give away, but I really liked her craft idea and it is also a DIY thing!

Her idea was to take a antiqued picture frame and use chicken wire to make a "Earring holder" for her earrings!  I am sure the pic above isn't the best quality, but it is generally what it is!

And you probably see the pic is in front of our tea pot lamp! : )

So, Isabelle is gonna win the "What to do when....." Book!

Since i know a lot of you did not get much of a chance to make ur crafts for the give away.....I am gonna do another one!


This one is a give away for "Around the world" stationary that i have made!  I drew the pictures.....and everything for them.  It is a set of 5 cards!

I know this picture is sooooooo blurry and doesn't give you a good idea of what they look like, but i have other pictures i am gonna upload really soon ; )

You can probably see the glitter on this card!

Each card will have a "Country" name on it.  (Example: Holland, France, India...etc,.)

"Crafty" Give Away!

Ok, last time I did a give away, it was a disaster!  It took soooooo much time, and I know a lot of you were frustrated, and it seemed like it took forever!!!!  The reason was, because, i hadn't even done a lot of my paintings for the calendars yet, and there were 2 winners, so i would of had to paint 24 paintings in a short amount of time.  So, i ended up just sending a Lifeway gift to the 2 winners (Thank you guys for being so thankful : )

But, this time, i am going to have everything already ready for the one winner!  I have already made the prize, and will also have one more "Bonus" Prize for the winner!  Let me tell you the challenge, and then the prize:

Challenge:

Make a recycled, upcycled...etc,. craft out of something like plastic bottles, newspapers...etc,. using something recycled in your craft creatively! It doesn't have to be anything big, it could be as little as a pen decorated with stuff, to make it look really cute, those little things mean the most to me!!  After you have finished your craft, send a picture of it to my e-mail:

A "What to do when" 6 page "book" I wrote of stuff to do when, for example, you are tired of watching TV, when it's a rainy day and you can't go outside...etc,.  I have made it sorta like a scrap book with glitter, stickers, tissue paper, and lots of drawings!
I already have it ready, so once you have won, i will send it in the mail right away!
I don;t have any pictures of it, sorry!  But i will get a couple to show you, so you can have some idea of what you are winning!

BOOHOO!!  I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo embarrassed to say that i have been working ReAlLy hard on the calendars (For the contest winners), but i have not been able to complete them!  I know most of u would encourage me to continue, but it would take FOREVER!  I'm sooooo sorry!

I am not going to just leave you empty handed, so i have a solution! I have a gift card for LifeWay Christian Book stores, and would be more than happy to send a gift to you from LifeWay!  I'm gonna buy them tomorrow, so i will send them out soon!  If you guys have any needs i would be happy to get them from LifeWay (Stationary, journals...etc,.)  But besides that, I'll just get something "girly" from the gift section! 

So sorry about this!  Next time i do a give-away, i won't have a goal i won't be able to accomplish (like painting 12-24 pictures)!   I hope u guys understand : )

Give Away Update

Just wanted to give an update on my give away!  I know it's been a long wait.  The weather's been crazy here, like one day it'll rain, and the next it'll be sunny and breezy!  And you can't always trust the weather report(even though they're usually 99% right).  So, it's been hard to get outside with my paints and note pad and just have a couple of hours of painting.  Added to that, the little ones like to come around when I'm painting, and that is an additional problem!! : )

But, i am working on the paintings!!!  Promise ; )  I have some paintings done (i think 4) and so it won't be a lot longer.  The first winner should get theirs first, and then the second winner will get hers next, because it's sorta hard to be painting for two different kinds of calendars at the same time : )

P.s. i hope my paint brushes aren't gluey and ruined, cuz we put a lot of glitter glue on them when Annabelle painted : )  I hope i can get the glitter off of them!  wish me luck ; )
