i wanted to do another beauty post.......
that (hopefully) will inspire and encourage all you girls out there! i am gonna be taking a blogging break this summer, so that i can get outside and (again....hopefully!) get tan lol! so, this will be the post "closing off" my blog for the summer! don't worry, i'll still be in to check my blog every now and then :)

i wanna start the post off with a quote from this amazing guy names Harry Styles from One Direction :)
" a girl wearing a short skirt and lots of make up will not impress me"- it's really hard to hear, i know it!! i don't wanna make this a "typical modesty" post where i just write out a list of rules about how long each skirt and pair of shorts should be, but rather, to remind you that you don't have to dress immodestly to be beautiful. God made each and every one of us uniquely beautiful! peer pressure is totally overrated.

we are made in God's image, and He has made us beautifully. take a risk. dare to be unique in Jesus.

we are all uniquely designed by God. we, as Christians, are created to be un-afraid to stand out in this world.

modesty, to me, isn't just about the clothes you put on your body. true beauty shines through a smile, being happy with where God has put you, and just trusting God through whatever situation you're in.

true beauty is being humble, and only wanting for your life what God wants. just know, you don't have to show off your body to be beautiful. when you dress immodestly, people can interpret it the wrong way and think that that is your heart. back to the quote from Harry, when boys see a girl dressed like that, it can send the wrong message. when we become Christians, we now have a new heart, a love that Jesus has given us, that can sometimes be dimmed by our appearance on the outside. don't be afraid to be uniquely you, and let your true beauty from your heart shine through!
