If not us....

So, a little belated HAPPY 2014!!☆ (Hey! I still made it in January ;)

I am so ecstatic that this is a new year, and I have so much to look forward to! There's something so intriguing about the feeling of a whole year that you have done nothing in yet, and that you can make better than the last! Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it XD
It's like when you get a new journal that you haven't written in yet.  It has fresh, new pages.  And you are extra careful about what you write on those new, un-stained pages.

When I looked back on this past year, what I realized was this.....
I really had not grown very much closer to God! It's terrible if you look back on a whole year, and ask yourself the question "Am I any closer to God now then I was at the beginning of 2013?" and then realize the answer is no.
And then, do you know what I realize after that?
God is still there! I wasn't there for God, I wasn't close to Him, yet He was still there the whole time, and He still loved me! And that gives me so much hope!
God is so Gracious. Loving. Kind. Forgiving. That He didn't forget about me.....even though I forgot about him!
On New year's I really realized for the first time what I had been doing! And I just poured my heart out to God, and He listened. He was still there.
I could feel Him saying "I never gave up on you! I still love you!" :)

And He loves me so much, that He has helped me to put the year behind me, and now I have a whole new year that I can make different! One that I want completely dedicated to Him!

Far better! You don't have to live in the past, of mistakes you've made, but you can move on, because God gives you the strength to!





I want to live this year, with the thought:

"I'm gonna do something!"

If not us, then who?
If not me and you?
Right now, it's time for us to do something!


And trust God, that He has a great plan for you!
Because, darling, He does!!
Don't let fear hold you back!
Because, God has already done something for you! He created you!! For a reason. He has made no mistakes! He died for you! Now, it's your turn to do something! Do something, to give back to Him :)


Be bold. And unafraid. Start new, and fresh. 
Open the book, and see the blank pages that begin to be filled the second you step out and say:

"I'm gonna do something!"

 

This is your time, Darling!
