Have you ever wondered what kind of a person you really were?
Like, not what you see in the mirror,
not your insecurities,
not what you hate about yourself, but what other people see...

the way you smile when some one says your name..
how you laugh when you think something is funny..
the way your eyes light up when you're so enthusiastic, you could burst..
your personality...
whether it be loud and spontaneous
or quiet and sweet
or a little of both ;)

Because, if you think about it...you never will see yourself like anybody else does.  You'll never see yourself when you're sleeping, you'll never see yourself snuggled up on a rainy day reading a book, you'll never see yourself looking with love and care in your eyes, you'll never really see yourself.

You'll only see what your reflection shows you.
But, do you know who does see all of that?
not just the world around us...
But God too!
He sees something even they will never see...He sees your heart!
He hears those silent prayers to Him.
He sees what you're thinking at this very moment.
He sees your future.
Even though he sees your flaws, he sees all your imperfections, he sees all your sins....He still sees you as perfect in His eyes.  Because he covers all of that with His love, His blood that was poured out on the cross for you. 
He has made you perfectly, darling, don't ever forget that!

You know when you turn a shirt inside out, and the inside doesn't look as pretty at all, cuz you can see all the seems and everything. Well, imagine that you were turned inside out.....would people see all the "seems" of sin, and think "Whoa....this girl is a lot prettier on the outside than she is on the inside" or would they see beauty in your heart?
Even with all of those seems of sin in your heart, God still loves you, and forgives you!  Because you are covered by his love and grace.  Your beauty is not what the world sees, but what God sees! 

 

Forget what anybody has ever told you...because when it comes down to what matters, they don't.  Only what God sees is what matters.  And what God sees is a beautiful creature whom he has created in His own image!

 

Don't be ashamed of who you are! Because, you are perfectly beautiful.
