Memorial Day

Memorial Day's over....aaaaaahhhh : (  But, I decided to write a post about the awesome time i had over the Holiday week end, and the actual day!  The week end I spent with a friend....FuN!!!!!  On Sunday I had an Awesome time at her church where her dad is the pastor!  They had a cool slide show for Memorial day in honor of all the soldiers who risked and even gave their lives for our country!

On Monday we had a cook out on our deck!  It was the perfect time of day : ) Gabe and i gathered some flowers from the garden (roses, Lillie's..etc,.) and bunched them together and laid them out on the striped table cloth on the tables outside.  When i was clipping some yellow Lillie's (I think??) a little, red-brown Bunnie leaped out and zoomed around the corner of the house.  It was sooo cute!  We searched the bush for a burrow, but i didn't want to harm anything if there were baby bunnies in there or something.  I hope there are, so maybe we could save them and keep them for pets, though we already have 2 bunnies ; )

Well, back to the cook out!  We had hamburgers, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, coleslaw, and soda!!!  Then, for dessert, we had strawberry pie and ice cream!

We played some basketball and what was fun was i made a "roller coaster" for Annabelle!  We have a little "trailer" for behind Dad's bike that is pretty big, and has a long handle, so i pulled that around the cement.  We had a little, mulchy hill, so that was added thrill, then we had big obstacles for us to dodge, and my sis and bro threw tires in front of us we had to zoom around : )

I guess I'm going all over the place with my post, but I'm just highliting the day!

I am so thankful for the men and women who are fighting now and have given their lives for our country in the years past!

An added bonus to this post!  The recipe to the Strawberry jello pie : )  I hope u will us it soon, it's really good!
